Theo van Doesburg

Theo van Doesburg, born in 1883 in Utrecht and died in 1931 in Davos, was a Dutch artist and a leading figure in the De Stijl movement, which advocated for a pure abstract art based on geometric forms and primary colors. His works, such as 'Composition (The Cow)' and 'Counter-Composition V,' are celebrated for their innovative use of line, color, and form, embodying the principles of Neoplasticism.
