Dong Qichang

Dong Qichang, born in 1555 in Huating and died in 1636 in Huating, was a Chinese painter, scholar, and calligrapher known for his landscape paintings that blended the styles of ancient masters with his own innovations. His works, such as 'The Qingbian Mountains' and 'Landscape in the Style of Ancient Masters,' are admired for their atmospheric effects and philosophical depth, reflecting the harmony between man and nature.
